Shotcrete Australia was engaged to carry out specialist shotcreting works for our valued clients, Daracon and Transport for NSW, as part of the Pacific Highway Upgrade through Gosford.
This critical infrastructure project involved transforming the Pacific Highway into a four-lane divided arterial road, improving traffic flow and road safety in the Central Coast region. The scope also included the construction of a new bridge over the Main Northern Railway line, the installation of new signalised intersections, and upgrades to local road networks.

Our scope of works focused on stabilising a steep railway embankment located under the newly constructed bridge and adjacent to the active Main Northern Railway corridor. To achieve this, Shotcrete Australia applied structural shotcrete to provide immediate surface support and long-term erosion control.
All works were undertaken in accordance with a comprehensive Rail Safety Management Plan (RSMP), ensuring strict compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements specific to rail environments. Shotcrete Australia’s experienced teams delivered this project safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard—demonstrating our ability to perform under complex and high-risk conditions.
